1st generation in the US on my father's side, mother is American. By definition, I'm middle-eastern, but we aren't Arab as we don't speak Arabic... Persian is the right word.
I only know basic Arabic... and I'm monotheistic/Muslim not Christian; I believe Jesus/Isa was a prophet, (as he said of himself) but not God. It would be good to meet with someone who has similar beliefs as well. Muslim is good, or jewish, so long as either are based on understanding, not just following the religion of their fathers. Then again, religion is a personal thing, so if you'll respect my beliefs, I'll leave you to yours as well. Most of the guys I've been involved with have been Mormon (go figure,) which shows we can have different beliefs and still get along.
